WNC FireWood Ministry (the Ministry) is an association. WNC FireWood Inc. (the Nonprofit)  is “the formative entity and permanent Member of this Association.” (Article I Sec. 1 and Article II Sec. 2 of the Articles of Association of WNC FireWood Ministry.)

The Ministry and Nonprofit share the same mission. The Ministry concentrates on processing and distributing firewood, while the Nonprofit supports the Ministry by providing capital equipment and philanthropic services.

Leadership of the Ministry is provided by a Coordinating Committee, while the Nonprofit is governed by a Board of Directors, whose members also serve on the Committee as Advisor Coordinators for the Ministry.
